Lake O’ the Pines
An enormous man-made reservoir spanning 16,919 acres surrounded by tall pine trees. Perfect for swimming, water sports, and fishing. Bring your own boat – there’s a boat launch next door to Hidden Pines RV Resort. The lake is stocked with large-mouth bass, spotted bass, catfish, white bass, crappie, sunfish, and chain pickerel. Take your catch back to your RV site and grill up a fish dinner under the stars.
Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area
BMRA welcomes dirt bikes, ATVs, and OHVs on 1,850 acres of rugged mountain terrain. It’s situated just northeast of nearby Gilmer, Texas, and easy to access from State Highway 155 North. Look for a brown sign pointing you to the turn on the left and you’ll be on the right track. Trails of every description for every kind of vehicle and rider. Vrooom!
Thomas Falls Zipline Adventures
